Meet "Fearless"
It’s so interesting how a piece can grow on you, with a little patience and an open heart. I’ve never really connected with the color red in any medium, so at first working on this was a chore. But the more I stitched and just allowed my intuition to take hold, the more it spoke to me. And when I look at her now, bursting with pattern, color and some wonky stitches, I see so much to love - courage, warmth, boldness and a life lived without apologies or second guessing. She’s actually become a reflection of my beliefs about growing older and I’ve decided to call her "Fearless."
