Shaking Things Up

By the end of last year, I was getting tired of myself. Same old glasses and hair that was just getting too “Donna Reed.” Then I did a Costco run with a new vision scrip and the gal in the eyeglass department said, “Try these on.” Wow, I felt like I’d found myself! These funky glasses make me smile and that’s definitely a good thing these days. Then I made an appointment with my hairdresser and said, “Cut it off, please.” And she did!

I’ve observed something interesting in this transformation. My new glasses and new hair make me feel like the old me. Vital. Vibrant. Fearless. Good feelings at any age, but definitely a keeper for someone on the cusp of seventy three. Bring it on, 2026!!
