Stitching My Heart Out
Quiet hours stitching away has become my reward for working through a grown up “must do” list which keeps reminding me to take nothing for granted. I have the perfect spot, nestled into an old rattan lounge chair in my sunroom, overlooking a newly acquired backyard Buddha keeping company with a neighborhood cat. It strikes me that the collection of favorite songs I’m listening to seem to alternate between sadness and joy. Well, that’s life, isn’t it? These days, I’m leaning into the first or it will come back to bite me. And the other? I’ve learned it’s a gift not to be squandered for even a moment.
Looking forward to soon showing you what i’ve been working on - each piece destined to become something useful and ready for the next pair of hands to hold it and love it.
