Taking A Chance!

There I was, standing in front of a pile of fabric, holding up purple and yellow like I was about to make a  huge life decision instead of a tote bag.   

I definitely have my “go-to’" palettes - water shades; earth tones, autumn colors, black and white. But this time I heard a whisper in my ear that said, “Take a chance. Step out of your comfort zone. What’s the worst that can happen?!?”

And guess what? I love it!!! It has depth and boldness. Light, and a dab of magic thrown in. The colors complement each other in a way that makes me smile every time I look at it.

And that’s the thing about stepping out of our comfort zone—it doesn’t have to be a giant leap. Sometimes it’s just a small, colorful nudge. A different choice. A tiny act of bravery disguised as a sewing project.

So, that brings me to this spicy little gal. Her name is Take a Chance or Chance for short. All I can say is, “here’s to purple, yellow, and a little bit of nerve!!!
